Hooray for taking breaks! I'm very glad it's not a goodbye forever though, your work is even more urgent than ever - the crisis of masculinity is threatening to destroy everything else along with itself

Hey Pagán, Thanks for making vulnerability feel accessible and masculinity feel expansive. Can’t wait to see what Other Men becomes in September. And if you ever want to cook up a Walk and Talk improv-collab reunion episode, you know where to find me.

Much love,

Mark (Carroll aka the Other Mark)

Mark, I’ve been listening to the podcast off an on for awhile now and today I was scrolling through my saved podcast episodes and another “Other Men” episode showed up so I put it on and then subscribed to the letter just now.

As a trans man who’s also gay I’ve had a weird relationship with masculinity and your podcast through the years has helped and I’ve even sent some to my best friend.

I hope to hear from you again in the fall.

Owen, thank you so much for this message—it truly means a lot. I’m honored that the podcast has been a companion for you, and I'm thrilled you shared it with your best friend too. I’ll be back in the fall with more, and I’m really glad to have you along for the ride.

Well, I just subscribed only to learn you're taking a break! Breathers are good, plus it gives me a chance to review what's already here.

At its core I really appreciate the honesty of the show. The reaffirmation that we all feel insecure about certain things sometimes. And the vulnerability shared by the host and his guests, is truly inspiring. I’ll look forward to your return!

Indeed, I'm glad the connection around insecurity is resonating—it's a universal truth we have to acknowledge at times!
